I’m never skipping styling products AGAIN🫣👀👹 👉 last week I skipped products and didn’t diffuse my hair dry (which I always always always do) air drying just doesn’t work for me 👉 this resulted in my hair feeling VERYYYY dry and looking a bit disheveled 🥲 👀 mentally I just needed a 10/10 washday and so, I knew I needed to use my fave products and diffuse my hair with my go-to hairdryer (the @tymo_fashiontech highspeed) my diffusing routine 🌵 after styling my hair, I scrunched out some of the excess water with a microfibre towel before I start diffusing my hair 🌵 then I leave my hair for 5-10 mins to set, I’ve found that my curls are much more defined and last longer when I do this! 🌵 I set the diffuser at the medium heat and the highest speed 🌵 first I’ll hover the diffuser over my hair, targeting my roots and then the ends of my hair to rly let the curls set in place 🌵 lastly I’ll pixie diffuse (cupping the curls into the diffuser attachment and lifting to my roots) this really quickens the drying process and makes my curls so much bouncier than if I just hover diffused the whole time 🌵 this process usually takes 15-20 mins if I don’t take a snack break lol 🍟🍿🍬🍫 🌵 once my hair is fully dry, I’ll then use my palms to scrunch out the gel cast (if there is one) and then I’m done! #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly

save if you want perfect ringlet curls 😮💨✨ 👉 finger rolling is my favourite styling technique for a reason!! the results are always to die for 😍 here’s a step by step on how to finger roll like a pro👇 🪷 make sure your hair is fully wet, not damp! if you try this technique on damp hair your hair will be less smooth and likely fail to roll around your fingers (and you’ll get so much more frizz) 🪷 if your hair needs the moisture, add a curl cream or leave-in before finger rolling. this will also make your hair smoother and therefore, easier to style - my favourite is the @imbuecurls conditioning spray 🪷 use your index and middle finger, guiding your fingers down the strand. then wrap your index finger beneath the hair strand and roll up to your roots (the video demo is much easier to understand - it’s very difficult to describe!) 🪷 release your fingers gently from the curl clump, and then if you want more volume, scrunch the excess water from the clump afterward 💦 🪷 for extra hold, you can scrunch a gel of your choosing into the curl clumps. this will help provide long-lasting definition 🫶🏼 the gel I love for this is the @umbertogiannini curl jelly 🪷 then air dry or diffuse your hair until dry (I diffuse on low heat, medium speed as it takes my hair AGES to air dry!) 🪷 remember that this technique takes practice and you may not get your desired results the first time you try it! but the results are so worth it! that’s all! If you have any questions then leave a comment ✨💌 I hope this helped 🫶🏼🥰 #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly
try this and the frizz will turn into a curl 😮💨🤭 here’s a step-by-step of what to do to turn frizz into ringlet curls👇 🧴 products used: @denmanbrush d90 brush and @onlycurlslondon misting spray 💎 step one: spray the frizz with water until it’s at least damp, I’ve found that soaking wet hair works best for this though 💎 step two: brush through the frizz with (preferably) a bristle brush until fully detangled. I opt for boar bristle brushes as they are a lot gentler on the hair and cause less breakage 💎 step three: use your fingers and finger roll the frizz so it forms a ringlet curl. I have reels on how to do this but with practice it becomes easy! 👉 a simple explanation of finger rolling is that you use your index fingers and roll the hair up to your roots before gently releasing it 💎 step four: diffuse your hair dry. it’s important you use a diffuser here and not air dry to get the most defined curls. you CAN air dry but I find my curls are a lot less shiny and defined when I do 💎 step five: pinch the curl to make sure it’s fully dry and if it is.. then you’re done! if you start touching it loads when it’s still damp then the curl could fall apart this is such a simple and easy way to transform frizz to curls and to see if you really do have curly hair! if you have any questions then leave a comment and I’ll get back to you asap 💖✨ #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly
styling your curly hair is NOT ‘forcing’ curly hair 😤🫠👀 💓 I truly hate comments like these because looking after your curly / wavy hair is hard enough without the misconception that styling your curls means you’re forcing them 😤 straight hair won’t curl no matter what styling techniques or products you use 📣📣 but if your hair is wavy / curly then techniques and products can do wonders for highlighting the curls which are already there 🫶🏼🫶🏼 🔍 these techniques include: scrunching, finger rolling and brush styling and can all be so useful in helping define your curls (if you did these techniques on straight hair then it wouldn’t work.. they only help to define the curls that are ALREADY there!!) 👉 scrunching - just scrunching product into your hair with your hands, super easy and effective for curls 👉 finger rolling - using your fingers to define each single curl, definitely the most effective technique I’ve tried but more time consuming (I have reels on this if you’re interested in learning) 👉 brush styling - using a brush to define your curls, something just by brushing the curls and sometimes by wrapping the curl around the brush handle. takes a bit longer but very popular for defining curls also, these are all comments I’ve rly received 🙃👀 if I had a penny for the amount of times I’ve seen “your hair isn’t naturally curly” or “she used curling tongs” under my posts then I’d be able to afford every single curly hair product out there 🫠😂 ✨ so please, don’t be put off by the misconception that curly hair shouldn’t be styled! #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly
