First time making cake cookies! Quite easy and so yummy 😋 #cake #cookies #baking #strawberry #dessert #foryoupage #fyp Cookie: 1 box strawberry cake mix 2 eggs (room temp) 1/3 cup canola oil 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional) Crumble topping: 3 oz strawberry jello 3 oz vanilla jello 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened and divided in half) 1/2 cup all purpose flour (divided in half) Frosting: 8 oz cream cheese (softened, PLEASE) 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened, PLEASE) 3 cups powdered sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Instructions: Make your cookie batter and form equal size balls. No freezing needed! Bake cookies at 350F for 10-12 minutes! Move to a cooling rack. Add strawberry jello to 1 bowl and vanilla jello to another bowl. Divide your 1/2 stick of butter into both bowls, 4 tablespoons in each bowl. Then divide your 1/2 cup of all purpose flour into both bowls, 1/4 cup in each bowl. Spread both jello mixtures on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350F for no longer than 8 minutes. Take out and let cool for about 20 minutes. Once cooled, mixture should be ready to crumble together! Set aside. Add softened cream cheese and butter in a bowl. Mix until smooth, then add your powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until there are no more lumps. Put your frosting into a piping bag (optional) or spread frosting on top of cookies with a spoon. Make sure your cookies are not warm because the frosting will MELT right off! Sprinkle as much crumble as preferred and top off with a fresh strawberry or chopped up pieces of strawberry! Enjoy and store in the refrigerator.
