Building LEGO on an airplane ✈️ I couldn’t finish the build on my layover but the LEGO gods would have it that the seat beside me was open, so I had plenty of room to build. There was actually a funny story with this. An elderly couple was sitting across the aisle and watching me build. For the longest time, I just assumed they thought I was a weirdo and accepted it. 🤪 After I finished, she leaned over and said “it’s good to see someone having a little fun once in a while.” We had a great conversation about my adult LEGO hobby and about their interests. I do what I do because it makes me happy, and I’m not afraid to show it. So whatever you do that makes you happy, take this as a reminder to be proud of it.

Sometimes your life looks like it’s falling apart, while Allah is placing every piece exactly where it belongs. Look at Yusuf عليه السلام. He was thrown into a well by his own brothers, sold as a slave, falsely accused, and imprisoned for years. From the outside, his life looked like one tragedy after another. But every painful chapter was leading him to the place Allah had already written for him. What looked like setbacks were actually steps. What looked like abandonment was divine protection. What looked like the end was only the beginning. So when your life stops making sense, remember the story of Yusuf عليه السلام. Allah doesn’t lose control of your story just because you can’t see where it’s going. Sometimes He is arranging everything perfectly behind the scenes, while all you can see is the chaos.
