That was the same feeling I had when I first used them! It was like everything was neon/highlighted with glasses and without it was the color faded away. With time (month/years), my brain got used to the glasses, and I now can recognize even more colors with them. For example, after four years of using them as regular sunglasses, this was the first summer I could really see the different shades of colors during sunset. It was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

:Orang yang buta warna sebenarnya tetap bisa melihat warna, tapi cara mereka melihat warna berbeda dengan orang normal. Jadi bukan berarti mereka hanya melihat hitam-putih (itu kasus yang sangat jarang banget, disebut achromatopsia). Secara umum ada 3 jenis buta warna: Protanopia / Protanomali → sulit membedakan merah dengan hijau. Merah bisa terlihat seperti kecokelatan, kehitaman, atau lebih kusam. Deuteranopia / Deuteranomali → sulit membedakan hijau dengan merah. Hijau bisa terlihat seperti abu-abu, kuning, atau lebih pudar. Tritanopia → jarang terjadi, susah membedakan biru dan kuning. Biru bisa terlihat kehijauan, kuning terlihat abu-abu atau ungu. Jadi warna yang mereka lihat bukan hilang total, tapi berubah atau lebih terbatas spektrumnya.
