i would cut those roots and seperate the plants keeping roots like 8-9 cm and plant in container as many you want ...

I usualy just take a knife and make 3 cuts around the bottom and it do the trick. Plants are thougher than we think indeed 😎

my horticulture professor would have us cut the roots with a pocketknife to free the roots! just a little easier than using ur hands lol
