🇳🇵 PART 3 — Understanding what happened in Nepal 🙏 After the videos already shared, here is a new video combining a visual recap, explanatory diagrams and real footage of the disaster. The diagrams show the preliminary explanation being examined by specialists: a major mass of ice, rock and debris may have collapsed at high altitude in the Himalayas, near the border with Tibet. It may have temporarily blocked a river, allowing water to build up before a sudden and powerful flood rushed down into the valleys below. The real footage then shows the force of the water, mud, rocks and debris moving through the valley. Rivers changed within moments, while roads, structures and people in the area were put at risk. Several areas were affected, including the districts of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading. Behind these devastating images are residents, families, workers and emergency teams responding to an immense human tragedy. 🤍 I am sharing this video respectfully: to help people understand, and to stand in solidarity with everyone affected. Thoughts are with the victims, their families, local communities and rescue teams. Stay strong, Nepal. 🙏🇳🇵 ⚠️ The diagrams show a preliminary explanation. The exact cause remains under investigation. 🙏 #Nepal #PrayForNepal #NepalFloods #thierrytrillet #fyp
