engagement announcement coming soon 🤞💉🩸💍 srsly though that was such a good experience, which is a rly rly rly great thing. I am a very sick, disabled person who needs lab work often but I always put it off because of how long it takes and how painful it is (the usual routine of being there for an hour and a half means I get poked many times and I have multiple tourniquets wrapped around my arms super tightly so for the next 48hrs my arms feel useless lol) so an experience like this makes me feel more confident about going when I'm supposed to (which should be like once every two or three months, but today was the first time I've gotten lab work in over a year 😭) which means I'll actually be getting the treatment I need. PLEASE, if you have any health issues, get help for them, even if it's embarrassing or you're shy or you're tired or you think it'll just go away on its own or you force yourself to be in denial about how serious it may be. if you have a symptom that a doctor dismisses or doesn't treat with the importance you think it deserves, always advocate for yourself, demand better treatment or find a different doctor. I never did any of those things until the last few years and now that I have, I realize there was so much pain I went through just because I was too shy to stand up for myself or too self loathing to think I deserved help. you don't deserve to be sick or in pain, so always try your best to speak up for yourself, (even though that's usually way easier said than done. 😅❤️‍🩹) speaking of which! I'm on another new medication. this means my broken body and damaged brain have a total of... sheesh... 13 prescriptions to make them function somewhat normally. I didn't realize it was that many til I just thought about it. 😭🤣 so! if you like my posts + would like to help me function as closely as I can to how an actual living human being should, check out the link in my bio c: patreon subscriptions (which now have 2 options if you want mail from me every month :3) + kofi donations + cashapp tips reeeeeeeally help support me, especially since tiktok has demonitized my page. 🙃 👁️👄👁️🫱💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊 #addiction #recovery #sober #MentalHealth #fyp
