Some days I sprint to the dance classes because I can’t wait to start. Other days I don’t feel like leaving my house at all. Today was one of those days. As much as I love dancing, I felt tired and low and didn’t want to push myself even more, but I did it anyway. I went to class, three lessons in a row and came out feeling better than when I arrived. I keep thinking about the quote that says “Do it scared, do it tired, do it broke, do it unsure, but do it anyway” in combination with the idea that consistency is what creates growth and consistency looks different every day. It’s not about always being at the top of your game 100% of the time. It’s about showing up. For yourself, for your goals, for your dreams. One little step at a time.
