وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا محمد سہیل خان آفریدی کے لاہور پہنچنے پر پنجاب پولیس کی جانب سے سیکیورٹی کی آڑ میں عوام کے لیے روٹ لگا کر روڈ بند کیا گیا تھا۔ وزیراعلیٰ خود گاڑی سے اترے اور پولیس کو روٹ کھولنے کی ہدایت کی۔ جب روٹ نہ کھولا گیا تو وزیراعلیٰ سڑک پر ہی بیٹھ گئے اور اس وقت تک وہاں موجود رہے جب تک عوام کے لیے راستہ کھول نہیں دیا گیا۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے پنجاب پولیس سے کہا میں عمران خان کا عوامی وزیراعلیٰ ہوں۔ میری وجہ سے کسی کے لیے سڑکیں بند نہ کریں۔ پہلے میری عوام جائے گی، اس کے بعد میں جاؤں گا۔
