My mom knows the lady on our block who collects them and she also knows what time she usually comes around so my mom makes sure to have recycling out

There are more People from China in 1980's, after worked and paid taxes all these years, do not need to collect the bottles. I respect them.

It just what they do. Very common in China as they recycle everything. Much better than USA recycle. Respect them they are cleaning up after people.
