Here’s why: I just don't think it's realistic to reapply sunscreen every couple hours on a normal day. I do think you should apply it every morning, but I only think you should reapply when you're outdoors all day - like the beach, pool, amusement park, hiking, etc! It won't do any harm, applying it very frequently, but it's just overkill. 2. There's been a few newer studies that show that microneedling over acne can actually benefit the skin more than harm it, and that it doesn't necessarily spread bacteria that leads to new breakouts. Previously, we thought you had to wait to treat your acne scarring until your active acne has healed, but now you don't necessarily have to. Of course - please still be careful and work with a professional because this is important for a case by case basis. 3. Some skin types can tolerate and actually benefit from daily chemical exfoliation. Especially if you have oily skin that's prone to developing ache. 4. Some sun is good for you. There are proven benefits to getting a small amount of sunlight everyday on your skin and in your eyes. You can still get the benefits from the sun with sunscreen on, too! I always wear it on my face, but usually only will apply it to my body if I'm going to be out in any capacity between the hours of 9am - 4pm.Look into all the benefits that a healthy amount of sun can bring! #esthetician #estheticianlife #estheticiantiktok
