There needs to be a market for recycled glass too. My city was stockpiling glass at their waste facility at one point b/c there was no market for it

Packaging free is always better! But also if we have reusable (refill) glass bottles wouldn’t that minimize the amount of excessive production

Well 1 problem is the dinosaur glass factories 🏭: very inefficient tech/energy use. But how is the recycling still a problem anywhere in the US?

I have a bug problem with brands with the Clean at Sephora tag, like Drunk Elephant, when you can’t recycle their airless packaging.

The issue w/ plastic is waste. Improving recycling won’t fix it. Even recyclable plastics can really only be “recycled” (downcycled) once.

there was a Danish study comparing Plastic bags to reusable bags and The results were very interesting! you should really look into it!
