Nutella-Stuffed Double Chocolate Cookies 🍫 Ingredients: * ½ cup browned butter (113 g) * ⅓ cup granulated sugar (67 g) * ½ cup packed light brown sugar (100 g) * 1 large egg (50 g) * 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (5 g) * 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g) * ⅓ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder (30 g) * ½ tsp baking soda (2.5 g) * ½ tsp salt (3 g) * 1¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks (210 g) * 6 tbsp Nutella, frozen into 6 scoops (90 g) * Flaky sea salt, for topping (optional) Instructions: Freeze six tablespoon-sized scoops of Nutella for at least 30 minutes. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant, then transfer it to a large bowl and let it cool until warm but not hot. Whisk together the browned butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until smooth, then add the egg and vanilla bean paste and mix until fully combined. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chunks, then chill the dough for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into six equal portions, flatten each piece, place a frozen Nutella scoop in the center, and seal the dough around it. Roll into balls, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, press a few extra chocolate chunks on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 11–13 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
