@gardenmarcus for my roses, I use a blend of dried banana peels, used coffee grounds & egg shells. I blitz them up, pour the powder on, &water it down

Do yourself a favor. Trim it down to about 8-10 inches from the base (believe it or not) once every few years. 😁
