talk to your fuel supplier we had a problem here in New York 10 yrs ago they have something to put in the fuel that killed it. and they supplied it.

a biochemist told me that the lack of sulfur is why it grow so well so you have to put sulfur back in the tank, which is why I use 2-cycle oil

Well, corn gets moldy. Don’t see why fuel made from it wouldn’t. Also, I know nothing about this stuff. Just taking a stab at it.

Use an algaecide. Or finger nail pain stripper. Also. I installed 10 micron external filter banks on mine to help keep it out of the motor. Add sulfur

I had it bad. K100 was the only thing that actually broke down the algae and cleaned it from the inside of the tanks
