Well, I didn’t take long to get the first judgmental response. Funny enough from a fellow big girl who’s lost weight. All this did was kind of proved my point that instead of trying to understand, people want to get on soapbox and judge. I removed her name because she doesn’t need to be known. I just want people to see that this does happen, very quickly. And if you’re on a health journey and someone is trying to be like this, remove them. Someone being supportive and trying to help is different than someone who has decided that your way is not correct because it’s not their way. No one‘s perfect at this. And I’ve learned that those that have to constantly belittle others have very low self-confidence. Don’t fall into that trap, love yourself and work on a better you. I am fat, but I am also awesome, smart, kind, a bit of a smart Alec, sarcastic, inventive, strong…. I’m me. And that’s good enough for me and the people who love me, don’t worry about if it’s good enough for stranger. So to this person who will remain anonymous because they don’t deserve any clout or negativity, thank you for proving my point. Not enough people listen and far too many people are quick to judge.
