It’s because you move your hand forward a bit when taking it off your phone soo instead slide your finger down your phone and try to make it straight.

no finger , use stylus at45 degree angle , roll stylus do not pull or push . mostly works but I only just figured this out

Cause your thumb rolling slightly to the right go to 1.6 and most likely you’ll hit 1.7
