change my Cyberboard R2 PCB and plate with me! ⌨️ @Angry Miao sent me their unreleased Cyberboard r2/r3 typing experience upgrade kit to test it out on my Cyberboard R2, and here's what I loved about it: 1. It has a flexible POM plate, which allows each key to produce denser ~poppy sound, and offers a softer typing experience, comparing it to the included aluminum plate, the sound it creates is a high-pitched one and it has stiffer typing feel (see how I typed in the intro) 2. There are 2 varieties of poron foams below the pcb (super soft and soft) it allows the user to choose what's best for their board. For me, I prefer the ''soft'' one because it's slightly thicker than the super soft and it provides an additional dampening sound for the keyboard. 3. No screws needed! the silicone screws are such a great idea and definitely a game-changer. I love that it's easy to remove and to push in. It saves time for us who mod keyboards! Overall, I would recommend the Cyberboard R2/R3 typing experience upgrade kit to all the Cyberboard users and havers like me. It's also fun to change and assemble the whole board! I really enjoyed my typing experience on this one compared to the previous pcb + plate 😊 Thank you so much again to @angry.miao for sending this over for my Cyberboard!
