This list could go on and on🙃 But that’s kind of cool because it just goes to show how much I’ve learned and how much growth has taken place both mentally and physically!! Everyone’s fitness journey looks different, which I think is awesome! We all have different starting points, goals, preferences, metabolisms, and lifestyles! What works for one person may not work for another and that’s why I always say you need to find what works for YOU and your body. I love sharing my experiences and what works for me in hopes of it helping you all in some way! 1.) Lifting weights won’t make you bulky. It’s REALLY hard to get “bulky.” You’ve got to eat a ton of food (like an uncomfortable amount of food) and lift a lot of weight consistently. Lifting is my primary form of exercise and I’m able to stay lean easily! 2.) You don’t need to spend hours in the gym each day. I was that girl who would workout for multiple hours a day (sometimes two workouts per day) because I thought I had to in order to achieve my goals. Now my workouts take 30-60 minutes max and I’ve never felt better! 3.) Crunches aren’t the key to visible abs. I feel like so many people can relate to this one…I know I wasn’t the only one doing follow along 10 minute ab challenges on youtube lol GUILTY🙋🏽‍♀️Having visible abs is determined by your body composition & how lean you are. It really comes down to dialing in your nutrition and making sure your training aligns with your body composition goals! Plus, compound lifts will make your abs stronger than endless crunches :) 4.) Your diet plays the biggest role in your results. We’ve all heard the saying “you can’t out train a bad diet” and it is so true! You could be working so hard towards your goals in the gym but not eating in a way that supports those goals and it’ll show; but if your training AND fueling both align with your goals, everything clicks into place & making progress becomes so much easier! 5.) There’s no quick fix, especially if you want lasting results. Slow and steady progress is always what I aim for and it pays off, trust me!! #personaltrainer #foryoupage #fyp #weightloss #fatloss #fitnessjourney
