Why don’t drs always run a full lab? Why do patients have to ask? Especially since this is so frequently issue in undiagnosed problems?

Yup! I've had thyroid issues since I was 8, this year at 28 I FINALLY had a full panel done and learned I have Hashimoto's 😳

My daughter was just diagnosed Hashimoto and she has a goiter. She has a ultrasound Monday to see if it had nodules. So good you promote thyroid edu.

My TSH3 just went from 1.27 to 11.25 from July to October, i have hashimotos and now I have to wait two weeks to see my endocrinologist

Yeah even with diagnosis of hypo, they still don’t run all tests. It took a MRI, a nodule, and a cancer scare the know that I need to ask more que!
