Good tip but consider the humidity. if its August with no air conditioning your good. but if its jan and dry I would negate that 32nd.

sit your tape on the floor and run tape to roof and add the width of the tape measure body to the measurement which is written on the body of the tape

Run the tape measure to the top and lock it. Put the measure tape on the board and mark the back end of the tape. Done!
