if you’re going to spend $68 on a candle the LEAST you can do is trim the wick!!! That will make sure it doesn’t turn black :)

If you pour boiling water then the wax will melt and go to the top and it’s easier to remove

black all around the edges means you should trim your wicks and don’t burn it for more than 2 hours . Will make it burn cleaner last longer

Yes try the boiling method next!!i used to freeze them but I’ve had multiple jars burst in the cold

A dry paper towel will also remove the burnt part on the jar - if you ever wanted to try something different. 😁
