The water was cold when it entered the tank. It’s a water heater. It even says so on the label.

ugh I used to work at service master and my boss would always correct... it's a WATER HEATER. um, no asshat is a HOT water heater!!😂

It only makes sense! Places like my state Alaska needs the water hot so pipes don’t freeze! And that comes from a hot water heater!
