I did this 3 times the night of amputation surgery… landed on my stump all 3 times. The pain was indescribable… Especially since I ripped out the nerve block tubes in the process!!!!

I’ve done this! But forgot to stretch out my muscles when I woke up and they were so stiff I just fell forward instead 😂

Back when I had a portable machine attached to me, I forgot several times. It fell a lot, cuz I would forget and stand up and walk and it crashed.

before being an amputee, did you ever sit on your leg until it fell asleep, and then not feel it when you stood on it? is it a similar sensation?
