White enby here: people touch my hair so often. It’s always older white women. They don’t know boundaries.

Also asking me how much I wash my hair, I don't ask my white girlfriends how often they wash their hair because its not my business.

It is similar to how people stop to pet dogs and gives off the same feeling. We don’t like to be pet

My niece is biracial and my white son loves all things soft especially her hair I’ve made it clear he must ask her and told her it’s ok to say no

For me, this has evolved into white women arbitrarily asking me “is that ALL your hair”? they see Its “real” but its long. We don’t have long hair?

Honestly it’s really simple - please do not invade our personal space without our consent. I understand being curious but ASK first.

#Chine
