your buying them wrong. always buy avacados and peaches slightly firm, then let them ripen in home. the ones ripe when transported will be bruised

I never understood why avocados are so expensive in the US. In Mexico you can buy a 5 gallon bucket for $200 to $500 pesos not dollars.
