Yeah, I’ve put together that radio kit from Elenco too... it’s not honest to say you “built it from scratch” since all you did was solder it together.

I wouldn't use the word from scratch here. That means without prior plans and assembly. This is a kit. Good job though I love to see techy tinkering.
