I work at a hotel in a tourist town, I had to go to a guest room yesterday to fix their AC unit. we were sold out so I couldn't move them rooms. it took me about 20 minutes to fix it. and when I came back downstairs there were about three people waiting in line. they were very unhappy. which I totally understand. but I'm not allowed to put up any signs that are not approved by corporate and we don't have a sign that says I'll be back in a few minutes. plus it was just me working, so I am maintenance, front desk, housekeeping, and everything else in between. what they don't realize is I would give them 15 minutes of my time as well if they had a similar issue.
