I enjoyed knowing my product like the back of my hand, trying them and gaining my own personal opinion on each individual product that I tried. I didn’t want to just learn literal facts about the lotion but get a better feel for it by testing it out. I wanted to personally see for myself what lotions paired better in what beds/sprays. I wanted to focus on the consistency of the lotion and how it felt on my skin especially having sensitive skin. I also wanted to become familiar with the scent of the lotion, not just how it smelt in the bottle but on my skin and then taking a step further by tanning/spraying with the lotion to see if the scent remained the same or if it shifted in anyway like a bad (after scent) because sometimes we’d be smelling rough after tanning 😷 Personally I just learned product better that way and I felt like I was better able to relate to my client when trying to find a lotion that was best suited for them especially if we had some of the same product interests/concerns. My clients were able to better trust me because I was speaking from personal experience not just reading off ingredients.However I understand that’s a little extreme for some sales representatives especially depending on what type of product they’re promoting. Unfortunately a lot of my fellow-coworkers would constantly get into arguments accusing each other of “stealing” product for the very reason in this video. I had to put my foot down many times because people will continue to take and take if you allow them too. Everyone got the same opportunities to learn the lotions but so many of them would get too comfortable and depend on The other person working the same shift with them to pull the weight and still walk away with the sale. A lot of them didn’t see anything wrong with it. It isn’t right to not put in the dedication to learn your product and expect the same payoff as someone who actually does the work to better boost their sales and client relationship.  #fyp #fypシ #tanning #tanningsalon #karen #salondrama
