I clean mine regularly. it is roughly 8-12" long. Doesn't seem to accumulate like in this photo... in fact it only builds up on the flapper/cover.

I recommend MAGILINT for cleaning the dryer as well. Drying time has dropped considerably! I bought it from Amazon.

Don’t dryers have a filter inside to clean to prevent this? I mean I clean mine all the time but does lint go elsewhere besides that filter?
