8 places to visit in Rome ♥️ I found it quite impossible to run out of things to do in Rome 😍 Here’s a list of 8 lovely places you can visit in the Eternal city: 1) Palazzo Altemps: home of the Museo Nazionale Romano, here you can wander between ancient sculptures in the lovely setting of Palazzo Altemps. A beautiful collection to visit and an often overlooked museum. It’s close to Piazza Navona. 2) Terrazza Caffarelli: located in the heart of the city, this terrace features a small park where you can sit and relax and it’s usually pretty empty! The view of the city from here it’s stunning as well ♥️ Highly recommended! 3) Museo Canova Tadolini: Once the workshop of Canova first and Tadolini later, nowadays it has become a cafe/reataurant. I like to have a coffee here every now and again as you are surrounded by statues, but it’s pretty expensive. Not sure about the food, but for a coffee it’s a great experience! 4) Giardino degli Aranci: a lovely park located on the Aventine Hill. Its terrace offers one of the best views over Rome, with views of Altare della Patria, St Peter’s Dome and Trastevere. 5) Coppedé Quarter: one of the most peculiar quarters of Rome, a visit to this area is a must if you’ve already visited Rome a few times or you are looking for something more peculiar. Head to Piazza Mincio and start exploring this lovely area 6) Giardinetto del Monte Oppio: perfect place to see the Colosseum and a lovely photo spot 7) Fontana dell’Acqua Paola: one of Rome’s most beautiful fountains 💙 8) Chiesa San Giacomo in Augusta: an impressive church located in Via del Corso. Rome’s churches are always impressive to see, so try to go inside to as many as possible #rome #roma #italia #italy
