I don’t have to tip on anything. Its not what you think you deserve. It’s the restaurant’s job to pay you not mine. If that’s a problem get a new job.

Right before I put in my 2 weeks, I got $15 on a $300 nine top, but they had ✨gift cards✨ so they thought it was okay 🥰

U are supposed to tip on the entire amount of the bill, (minus the tax I think)… Not just what was on your credit card.

Without thinking I accidentally tipped on the amount after the gift card. But I ran to the atm across the street to get the proper tip amount out.

No one has to tip. Many couldn’t go out of it weren’t for the gift card.

working for Disney we got dining coupons for the holidays and the best thing they did was automatically add the tip whenever coupons were used

I always tip 30% but restaurants should pay staff appropriately. Until they do I’m not about to make my server suffer. We appreciate you guys so much

Wow the amount of people these days that still don't tip is stunning! Do people really not know that servers live off tips?!

For all the Karens: no tip = server paying for YOU to eat bc they have to tip out hosts/bar/etc. on top of only making ~$2/hr which all goes to taxes

Servers should have to be paid a normal wage like any other job and not have to rely on people giving them tips.

So weird. I usually tip even bigger when I have a gift card cause I didn’t spend as much money. People suck.

I don’t know how much I tip. I take the total+20%, then round up to next dollar (if it’s 21.21, I’d leave $22).
