Mine did the same thing, but it was dumping the fuel out the exhaust and lit the raw fuel. Had a nice blue flame coming out the exhaust. 😳

I remember seeing these vortec engines in the late 90s and I always thought it was cheap and lazy of GM. My 86 accord had multi port.

had to replace the spider injectors in my '99 S10 twice. first one was stock second one was defective and third one did the trick
