I use yellow taters boiled in stock with the skins. Then mash with butter, sour cream, salt, & stock instead of milk. Garlic if I'm feeling it lol

you need to try cooking in pink sea salt water at boil. then use Philadelphia cream cheese with pepper and milk and mash away so creamy and good

I think the lesson we can learn from this is: it doesn’t matter. Use salted water or stock. It’s a preference and both can make great potatoes.

What happens to all the stock once the potatoes are boiled? I fill to cover taters then pour out the water, add, butter, salt, pepper, half/half& mash

nope nope nope lol always been salted water for me, I also don't eat meat so not a hope I would cook in chicken or beef stock (milk and Irish butter)
