I was at the dealer. I went to the shop because I had routine Mx questions. They "forgot" to report anywhere they had replaced the transmission

the insurance company will report to car fax also. they will report that there was more damage repaired than there really was. we had a 2012 accord

Carfax is ok; however, don’t fully trust them. The info is only on them if the shop or insurance company report it.

people should know if your car is ever in an accident that's not your fault and you have it fixed you better check the car fax before you pick it up.

very small bump up. car totally drivable. after repairs were made we went to trade it and the "car fax" said major damage and our trade in dropped.

there is nothing you can do about it but try to contact car fax and get them to redo the report. that is impossible.
