I would never have applied heat . I don’t like applying heat to metals , because I believe it compromises the metal . Heat is the enemy to metal.

if the weld trick doesn't work just jump to drill out. threads so mangled if you keep going but drill can save it.

You don’t want heat on the stud itself. You want heat on the block, so block expands. Dry ice to shrink the stud. Drill hole, in stud, try “easy”outs … use kroil oil. It’s likely gawled

Drill a small pilot hole, in center of bolt, then open to a larger and larger.. once you step it up to 1/2 of the material of the original bolt it removed, it will be weaker
