I go to a top university and cannot get into an ASL course because they teach 12 students a year at a university with over 30,000 students!

Wow my sister had a CI in the early 2000’s and she was COMPLETELY deaf (like off the charts) but it worked and nobody can tell she is deaf!

my sister got the cochlear surgery when she was younger, she has Leukodystrophy type 21 and we think the cochlear doesn’t work personally for her

My daughter just got her CI in August! It only had a 15% chance of working and she went from no auditory response to hearing at 35dbls!
