Britney Spears had about as hard a start in life as is imaginable. She was used for fighting or as a bait dog before being dumped out with a 🔒 around her neck and her 5 babies covered in 100s of ticks 🐜. She was totally broken and massively aggressive. Some rescues are quick but she’s been with Niall for 2 years. First at home but that didn’t work out as she was too wild with other dogs like Snoop when he was old and frail. She now lives with us and we have built a life for her as best we can. Her social circle is expanding and she now has about 6-7 humans who she likes (never anybody new as she goes for them). She also has some dog friends but she still lets herself down. If play gets a little rough she will revert to fighting so we have to manage everything very carefully. She loves her hill runs, she does love any human company she gets and we try to keep her stimulated. We wouldn’t rule out a forever home for her one day as she is improving every single day but it would need to be somebody very experienced and patient. She’s amazing when she does know you but anything new is the enemy at first. We called her Britney Spears because just like the music star humans hadn’t been kind to her.
