I’m one of the Subaru groups im in of fb I had a guy try to tell me they fail because it’s a flat 4 and the weight of the heads stretches the bolts😂

subaru legacy, 4th cylinder gets a lack of coolant. just did mine at 286k miles. with a mls gasket.

Yep, it would literally cost Subaru $5 to $10 to fix this issue largely from ever happening again. They knew about it they just refused to do it.

why do STI have ringland failure so often? two different 2005 STI blew, one at 65k miles, and one at 82k miles.
