We haven’t even been able to pay our electricity bill for the last two months. From usual 30k naging 60k per month since March 2026. Meralco at mga nasa Gobyerno? NASAN ANG KONSENSYA NYO? We’re already drowning. I’ve been running my business since 2017. We’ve survived a pandemic. We survived lockdowns. We survived months with almost no guests. But nothing has been as difficult as 2025 and now 2026. We’re a small business trying to keep eight Filipinos employed. Every day, we’re fighting just to keep the lights on, literally. Tourist arrivals have dropped since the flood control issue last year! Foreign travelers lost their interest in our country! Sales are down. We thought the low season or low tourist arrival was the hardest part. Turns out, it’s not. Every month we’re hit with another increase. Electricity. Endless Taxes. Operating costs. Business Permit. Inflation. Everything keeps going up except our income. How do you expect small businesses to survive? Do you think money just magically appears because we own a business? We’re not sleeping peacefully at night. We’re carrying debt, worrying about payroll, worrying about rent, worrying about whether we’ll still be open next month. And yet, you keep asking for more. In the #philippines you’re punished for creating jobs. To anyone thinking about starting a business in the Philippines Please think twice. If you have opportunities elsewhere, seriously consider them. Go abroad if you can! To #meralco and every oligarch who built wealth on the suffering of hardworking Filipinos, and to every corrupt government official and employee who allowed and benefited from it: MAY YOUR BLOODLINE CARRY THE CURSE OF YOUR GREED UNTIL THE 5TH GENERATION. MAY EVERY FORTUNE YOU’VE STOLEN BECOME YOUR FAMILY’S DOWNFALL. MAY YOUR NAME BE REMEBERED ONLY WITH CONTEMPT, AND WHEN YOUR SOUL IS JUDGED, MAY HELL CLAIM YOU WITHOUT MERCY!
