With high anxiety, but also tired, easily triggered,➡️self care or rest felt like just another thing on my list to do, even though I knew it was crucial for my physical and mental health. 🤯I hit a breaking point when I was sick constantly, struggling with IBS, heartburn, and anxiety attacks. I needed to take my life back.. ✨Here are 5 simple things that fed my soul and helped me break out of the woodwork and begin feeling like a human again... 👉1. I reached out to friends I lost touch with. Find your #momtribe 👉2. I started moving and dancing again, just in my living room, but putting on music that fed my soul made me feel 💯 times better. Usually while doing those mundane household tasks. 👉4. I delegated!! I pulled my family aside and said "I need help. I am burnt out. I need you all to pull some weight around here... And it worked! " With guidance and some patience of course they began to pitch in more, and all of a sudden I had a little bit of free time here and there to explore my own interests. Turns out the scrolling only made me feel guilty, although I enjoy a good scroll I needed to manage what I was watching and for how long. I became intentional with how I spent my time. 💥Mommy Burnout should not be seen as normal💥. We lack the village that used to exist. Find your Village! Even if it's online, where there are mamas who talk about going through all the same s#!t just like this. Get support, take care of you!
