CLP Holdings (0002) - This is one of the two big power utility companies in HK and has been providing power to Kowloon and the New Territories for over a century. It currently yields around 4.4% and pays a dividend four times a year. 2. BOC Hong Kong (2388) - This is the HK-focused subsidiary of Bank of China and its business is mainly focused on Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA). It yields around 4.5% for dividend investors and pays a dividend four times a year. 3. MTR Corp (0066) - This is Hong Kong’s rail network operator and has become renowned for operating a profitable “rail + property” business model. Its shares yield 4.1% and its pays a dividend twice a year. Remember, in Hong Kong board lots of local shares can vary but the minimum board lots for all three here is 500 shares. And investors should also note that the HKD is pegged to the USD so it strengthens and weakens with it.
