And now, he’s trying to twist this case and kick a man while he’s down. That’s not leadership, that’s politics at its worst.Did you know that he has a family and kids? And yet my opponent is using him as his storyline to claim he’s “against corruption.” We are all against corruption, but let’s also remember that people make mistakes. The real measure of leadership is how you respond: why not say, “It’s disappointing what happened, but thank you for the opportunity and for giving me a chance when nobody else did”? That would show integrity.The truth is, if I had done something wrong, I’d be the first one in handcuffs. But I wasn’t, because I wasn’t involved. Unfortunately, the media never covered my NOT GUILTY verdict the same way they covered the accusations. So it’s up to me to tell the people of Edinburg the honest truth.Edinburg deserves better than smear tactics.
