usually what I do is I hide a treat somewhere and after while I'll shine the pointer on it so when they go for it is seems like they caught it

My cats chase the laser for about 30 seconds and than just lay down 😂

I try to switch off the laser right when my cat swats/puts her paw near it to create the illusion she caught it!

We play with the laser pointer but only for about 5mins and then we throw a treat and he follows the laser and it lands on the treat and he catches it
