We were without for about 36 hours luckily my mom wasn’t so I took my kids to her and my husband stayed back to care for the animals finally back on

fill the tub with hot water. that way if your pipes freeze you still have drinking water and can put a bukets worth down the toilet.

if it's a gas water heater put a mattress on the floor next to it, everyone & the fur babies get under every blanket & towel. pretend your hibernating

Everyone load up in one room. Put blanket/sheets/towels over any windows, roll up towels to stuff under doors. Snuggle up together. Good Luck TX!
