Step-By-Step Holiday Dinner Rolls • This recipe makes 12 rolls. In my video, I doubled the recipe and made 24. • Ingredients: 1/2 cup warm water 1 tbsp rapid-rise yeast (I used the bread machine type even though I didn't use one) 3 tbsp sugar (1 tbsp will be mixed into the yeast and water) 1 cup whole milk 1/4 cup unsalted butter - melted 4 cups flour 1 tsp salt • Directions: 1. Mix the warm water, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Set aside for 5-10 minutes while the yeast activates. 2. Warm milk and melt butter. Add melted butter to warmed milk and mix together. 3. Add the remaining sugar (2 tbsp) to the milk and butter and whisk together until sugar is dissolved. 4. Pour milk mixture into the bowl with the yeast. 5. Add half of your flour to the bowl. 6. Using your KitchenAid Mixer and dough hook attachment, mix on speed 2 for about 1 minute. 7. Add salt and remaining flour. Mix dough on speed 2 for about 1-2 more minutes. 8. Preheat oven to 200°F. When preheated turn off oven and place your bowl of dough with a towel over it into the oven. Leave the oven door slightly ajar. Rise for 30 minutes. 9. After the dough rises, divide into two equal parts. Each half will then be divided into 6 parts. This will give you 12 rolls. *to ensure your rolls come out the same size, use a kitchen scale to keep them as close in weight as possible* 10. Place rolls on a sheet pan with a small amount of space between each one. Cover with a towel and place back in the oven to rise another 20-30 minutes. When they've doubled in size, remove from oven. 11. Preheat oven to 375°F 12. Bake the dinner rolls in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Mine cooked for 23 minutes. Remove when tops are golden brown. 13. Brush with butter and a sprinkle of salt. 14. Serve and enjoy! *can be frozen for 3-6 months* #Thanksgiving #Recipe #Rolls #Baking #Bread #SideDish
