Finally an explanation for this scale! Here they use 1.0 as normal. 0.5 is me without my glasses and 2.0 are those few gifted with eagle like vision.

How do they test for farsided eye sight? I’m severely near sided so I do this with corrective lenses until they find where I can read the letters
