Perspective. 🙏🏼🥹 I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever felt this emotional creating a post. 😭 One day, we won’t have the chance to make changes. We will only have memories to look back on. What memories are we creating? Time is a thief, and we take it for granted far too often. We assume our people will always be there…until they’re not. We get caught up in our own frustrations, treat them unkindly, or live selfishly, forgetting how fleeting this life really is. We assume our dreams will wait for us…until the opportunity passes and we’re left with regret. We chase approval from people who are actually too busy thinking about themselves to notice. Life is moving. It’s racing past us while we stay distracted, complacent, & waiting for the “right time” that will never come. We get one chance. To be kind. To say sorry. To say the things we wished we had said before they were gone. This post reminded me just how fragile time is. And I want to be better. 🥹🥲 A better daughter. A better friend.
