I’ve always used valvoline and a fram filter. Idk if that’s good stuff but it’s always worked well for me

Pennzoil for gas engines. Shell Rotella T for diesels. I prefer the synthetics but still change at no more than 5000. I also like Wix filters.

On 1993 10-30 Castoil, summer 10-40 at 250,000 miles. I liked Fran filters. Older non-overhead cam engines at 250k plus dont be scared of 20-50.
