If you weren’t able to get it running it’ll be a 2ft blizzard. Or it will be a blizzard anyway and will not start when you need it.

Use welding tip cleaner rods to clean out the jets. And make sure you get the jet out of the Venturi.

It’s weird those engines STAY on choke and YOU gradually move after a couple minutes. Weird I know but the manual says it!!! Who knew 🤷🏻

Small ports in the tube the main jet goes in need to be cleaned out. That will fix the idle quality.

Take the bolt that holds the bowl on out and make sure the passages are clean. One of mine was blocked I couldn’t even see the hole.

Remove main jet and emulsion tube in center of carb. Remove low speed jet under the idle stop screw. Clean and re-assemble. Good as new

As a guy who uses one they like to have a little bit of load, if there's no load on it they run rough, don't know why but that's how mine is

New carb on Ebay about $10. Put a fuel shut off valve & filter on it. When your done using it turn the valve off & let it run until it stalls.

System cleaner didn’t work, did it? There’s a black plastic cap on the top of the carb, take that out and spray cleaner through the connected holes.

I have the same one. Same issue. I just run it in partial choke. we get snow maybe 2-3 times a year so who cares.

hey I have the same one. it works great but where the plastic chute connects, is weak as hell. check that weak point. had to zip tie mine in blizzard

you need to take a small small piece of wire and run it through all the holes inside that carburetor to make it run smooth
